Provincial funding good news for Bombardier
Bill Mauro helps announce the purchase of 182 more Light Rail Vehicles from Bombardier, with an option for an additional 118 vehicles. The $770 million contract was funded by the Government of Ontario. It’s projected that this purchase could lead to an increase of roughly 250 jobs on average over a 10-year period at Bombardier’s Thunder Bay plant.
